Developmental Clinics will be held Saturday, June 15th and Sunday, June 16th for those players who would like to play in a more competitive level of soccer. Please go to the "Tryouts/Developmental" tab for more information on times and locations. We would also ask that you fill out the pre-registration form for the clinic as this is extremely helpful for our staff when your player checks in.

It is extremely helpful if you can pre-register for tryouts prior to June 29th as it will make the check-in process for your player easier.

Gretna Soccer Club is currently looking to add the following positions to its already experienced staff.
Micro Coordinator (U3-U6)
Oversee the U3-U4 Kinderkickers and U5-U6 Micro Programs.
Assist DOC with the Kinderkickers/Micro Curriculums and Practice Plans.
Run combined training sessions for all U3-U6 teams through the Fall, Winter and Spring including 20 minute training sessions prior to games.
Troubleshoot any issues and evaluate Micro Mentors during games.
Recruit, assign and retain Micro Mentors to teams and training sessions with guidance from DOC as necessary.
Academy Director (U7-U10)
Oversee the Academy which includes all U7-U10 players.
Assist DOC with the Academy Curriculum and Practice Plans.
Run training sessions for all U7-U10 teams separately and combined.
Coordinate with coaches and set expectations prior to and during sessions.
Provide feedback or evaluations to Academy Coaches after sessions.
Work to enhance the curriculum specific to the current level of skill within the group.
Attend games for all U7-U10 teams, this will include but is not limited to assisting the coach and evaluating the coach during games.
Must have a National USSF ‘D’ License, NSCAA National Diploma, equivalent or higher.
Technical Directors (U11-U12, U13-U14, U15-U18)
Oversee Age Groups as defined by the DOC within the club.
Assist DOC with the applicable U11-U18 Curriculums and Practice Plans.
Run training sessions for those teams within the age groups.
Coordinate with coaches and set expectations prior to and during sessions.
Provide feedback or evaluations to Coaches after sessions.
Work to enhance the curriculum specific to the current level of skill within the group.

Assist DOC with the applicable Micro-U18 Curriculums and Practice Plans.

Goalkeeping Director
Run Goalkeeping Sessions for all U8-U18 players.
Oversee GSC Goalkeeping Staff.
Run GSC Summer Goalkeeping Camp.
Assist DOC with the Goalkeeping Curriculum.
For each position, any candidate must possess a Player Development Philosophy that is consistent with the club’s mission. A qualified candidate should have the following: 1) strong practical playing experience, college or equivalent; 2) strong coaching experience or training; college or club level preferred; and 3) a dynamic personality with innovative ideas, strong motivational skills and excellent oral and written communication skills in both one-on-one situations and in large group settings.
