The Roughnecks got an early season tournament championship in the 2012 Border Battle.  An exciting pk shootout gave the boys another tournament championship in KC!  Great job boy's!!!

Over the weekend of Aug. 20-21 the Roughnecks traveled to the Overland Park Soccer Complex to participate in the 2011 Midwest Kickoff Classic soccer tournament hosted by the KC Select Soccer Club.  The Roughnecks had two wins and one tough loss through group play but redeemed their only loss by soundly defeating the EFC 02 Elite in the tournament final.  In four tournament games, the Roughnecks scored 18 goals while only allowing 2 goals against.  Great way to start the season for a new team!!!
