Update to Goalkeeper Training

Due to darkness, for the remaining outdoor Goalkeeper Trainings on Mondays, we will only have training for the 2007 and older ages.  The 2004-2007 training will go from 5:00-6:00 p.m. and the 2003 and older session will go from 6:00-7:00 p.m.  Thank you for understanding.

2017 Fall Goalkeeper Training

Per Goalkeeping Directors Zack Brennan and Danka Vargas, sessions for goalkeepers are listed below for the fall season.
Mondays at Gretna Sports Complex (starting August 14th):
2007-2009 (Boys & Girls) - 5:00 - 6:00 pm
2004-2006 (Boys & Girls) - 6:00 - 7:00 pm
1999-2003 (Boys & Girls) - 7:00 - 8:00 pm
Sundays at the Gretna Sports Complex (starting September 17th):
Only 2005 and older, Boys and Girls combined
1999-2005 (White, Gold and Black goalkeepers) - 4:00 - 5:15 pm
1999-2005 (Green goalkeepers) - 5:15 - 6:30 pm

Zack grew up in Kansas City playing goalkeeper for the KC Legends under Andy Barney winning multiple State Cups and Region 2 championships.  While playing for Olathe East High School, Zack earned All-American and Gatorade Player of the Year Honors.  He went on to start four years at Drake University, breaking every school goalkeeping record in the process.  After a short stint with the then Kansas City Wizards, Zack started coaching for the KC Legends then moved to Lincoln and took over a Waverly YMCA team in 2011.  He has had stints with Elite Player Academy and EGA/EBA Lincoln before joining Gretna Soccer Club.  Zack and his wife, Shelby, live in Gretna and have a beautiful little girl named Brooklyn.
