Gretna Soccer Club

Thomas Nettleton is in his second year with Gretna.  Thomas played and coached collegeiately at Hastings College from 2002-2009. Nettleton took part in 4 NAIA National Tournaments bids, twice landing a spot in the NAIA Final 4.  After his playing career Nettleton joined the staff of his alma mater as an Assistant Coach under Chris Kranjcs.  Nettleton experienced being Great Plains Athletic Conference Champions in every season.  Coach Nettleton earned a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in Teaching in Education from Hastings College. 
 
Coach Nettleton has also been involved with the Nebraska Olympic Development Program.  He has served as a Trainer, Assistant and Head Coach for 7 years.  His latest involvement being Head Coach of Nebraska's 1996 Girls Team. He is also served as the Lincoln Southwest High School Girl's Varsity Head Coach.  
 
Coach Nettleton currently holds a National 'D' License from the United States Soccer Federation.  He also has received State and Regional Goalkeeping Diplomas from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
